    Furthermore, we recommend that you arrive in Ecuador, at least 48-hours prior to your Galapagos flight. As a result you won’t have to worry about delays on your flights, and will give you the opportunity to visit the city of Quito or Guayaquil.
    To preserve the Islands, the Galapagos National Park demands the fulfiling of some strict regulations for any ship or aircraft landing in the Galapagos. Therefore, when booking your Galapagos flight, please consider the following:

    • There are no direct international flights to the Galapagos Islands.
    • Daily flights to the Galapagos Islands depart from the cities of Quito and Guayaquil on mainland Ecuador.
    • The Galapagos flight will take you around two and a half hours
    • Most flights from Quito make a stopover in Guayaquil.
    • There are two airports in Galapagos, on the Islands of Baltra and San Cristobal, make sure to book the flight to islands from where your cruise is departing
    • Flight departs from Quito early in the morning, hence make sure to arrive at least 24 hours prior to your Galapagos flight.

    Getting around town:

    Bikes:

    This is one of the best ways to move around in any of the Galapagos towns. Bicycles can be rented per day, or per hour.

    Taxis:

    Taxis in the Galapagos Islands are white pick-ups, driving around town, or parked at the peers.

    Water Taxis:

    Air:

    There are daily flights between the islands of Santa Cruz, Isabela and San Cristobal. The flying time between the islands is of around 30 minutes. Nevertheless, vlying time from San Cristobal to Isabela Islands shall taker around 40 minutes.

    • Baltra to Isabella: 12:30 pm
    • Baltra to San Cristobal: 10:30am
